Nicknamed “Mid-America’s Meeting Place,” the Salina Bicentennial Center has been taking care of busy meeting planners since the facility opened in 1979 at the crossroads of I-70 and I-135 in northcentral Kansas.

With more than 40,000  sq. ft. of exhibit space, the Bicentennial Center is a flexible, centrally located venue. The Center annually hosts regional events including No-Till On The Plains, the Mid-America Farm Expo, the Salina Homebuilder’s Association Home & Garden Show, and the annual Chamber of Commerce banquet, serving up to 2,000 guests.

A 7,500-seat, multi-use arena that easily converts into an auditorium, theatre, or exhibition hall is one of the Center’s primary meeting spaces. Additionally, the newly remodeled, 17,000+ sq. ft. Heritage Hall can accommodate about 100 vendors in an easily accessible, ground-floor setting. The Hall seats 1,000 for meals or up to 2,000 theatre-style, and also can be configured into four separate spaces with floor-to-ceiling, sound-resistant walls.

The Center’s upper level features eight meeting rooms with numerous configurations, all with enhanced  audio-visual capabilities. The adjacent, two-story Atrium is ideal for breaks and networking. The Bicentennial Center also offers delicious in-house catering at high quality and affordable pricing, providing satisfying meals and break service for many conferences, wedding receptions, and holiday or special-occasion parties each year.
