Winners of the 2016 Mercury Awards were announced during the U.S. Travel Association’s annual ESTO conference, held Aug. 27-30.
The South Dakota Department of Tourism was presented the award for Best Print Advertising.
“We are honored to be recognized for this distinction among our peers,” said James Hagen, Secretary of the Department of Tourism. “Our team works hard year-round to promote South Dakota as a premier travel destination, and awards like these validate that work.”
The South Dakota Department of Tourism is comprised of Tourism and the South Dakota Arts Council. The Department is led by Secretary James D. Hagen.
