Condé Nast Traveler announced the results of its 29th annual Readers’ Choice Awards, and Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza earned top honors for the second year in a row as Kansas City’s best hotel and top five in the Midwest, with a score of 94.43/100.
The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry, commonly known as “the best of the best of travel.”

There were nearly twice as many readers this year, highlighting cities’ best hotels, with over 300,000 votes and 75,000 comments.
