Stacy Barnes, City of Greensburg Convention & Tourism; Cris Collier, Great Bend CVB; Christina Haselhorst, Dodge City CVB; Larry Johnson, Finney County CVB/Garden City; Janet Kuhn, Hays CVB; Jenalea Myers, Franklin County CVB and Susan Wettstein, City of Garnett were honored during the 2015 Kansas Tourism Conference for achieving their Kansas Destination Specialist (KDS) certification.
“We are pleased that seven TIAK members were honored this year for achieving their KDS certifications,” said Marlee Carpenter, executive director of TIAK. “The hard work and dedication it takes to obtain this designation shows true leadership in our industry.”
The 2015 Kansas Tourism Conference was held October 26-28 in Wichita, KS. This three day conference is the major annual event for travel and tourism promoters in Kansas. It offers both hoteliers and tourism professionals a variety of educational seminars, workshops and networking opportunities.
