The City of Brookfield, together with Visit Brookfield and North Central Group (NCG), today broke ground on the new Brookfield Conference Center. Local dignitaries and conference center affiliates turned a ceremonial first shovel to make way for beginning phases of construction at Brookfield’s premier destination for meetings, events, and collaboration.
The October 10th groundbreaking celebration marks years of planning and approvals for the site, located at the south end of Brookfield Square Mall. Steven V. Ponto, Mayor of Brookfield, was joined by Rebecca Kleefisch, Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin, and partners from Visit Brookfield and North Central Group for the commemorative event.
“Today marks a special day as we officially break ground on the Brookfield Conference Center,” said Mayor Ponto. “This property, once completed, will be a foremost destination to connect our thriving community, the greater Milwaukee region, and beyond.”
