Grand Wayne Convention Center — a premier Midwest meeting and convention facility located in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana — has announced the completion of its fully renovated wireless system with new, robust, high-performance, high density WiFi technology. The new system is the result of a collaboration between Grand Wayne and Samsung to provide free, seamless, reliable connection capability for more than 5,000 guests simultaneously. The new solution incorporates advanced WiFi capacity to provide thousands of users with free, uninterrupted, high-demand service, including live video streaming.
“The majority of our biggest conventions are repeat customers going back nearly 30 years,” states Rick Browning, technical director for Grand Wayne Convention Center. “We needed to address our technology limitation, so we created a customized solution to accommodate the greatest possible need.”
