By the time the Minnesota Vikings take the field next training camp, construction on a 320-room hotel with about 18,000 square feet of conference space will likely be looming on the horizon.
Don Becker, executive vice president of real estate development with the Vikings group, said during an Eagan City Council meeting Tuesday that they plan to start digging before the ground freezes.
