During the holiday months, the need for extra assistance for families tends to increase and it is with the community support through donations that make it possible to help feed families for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
In the spirit of the holiday season, Lisle Convention & Visitors Bureau will kick-start a holiday food drive for Lisle Township Food Pantry.
The Holiday Food Drive begins October 3 and runs through December 30.
Among the items in demand besides “extra holiday fixings:” canned meats, vegetables and fruit; canned fish; peanut butter; jelly or jam; soups, canned or instant; pasta; rice; cereal, hot and cold; powdered milk; dry beans; baby formula; baby food or cereal; diapers and wipes. All donations are greatly appreciated.
