Kansas City, Mo.—On behalf of the region’s leading hospitality and tourism organization, the Board of Directors for Visit KC released the following statement today:
In an effort to continue to advance Kansas City as a great place to live, work and visit, Visit KC supports the airlines’ investment in a new single terminal at Kansas City International Airport (KCI). We believe that a new single terminal, with all of the modern conveniences travelers expect in an airport that serves a city of our size, is essential for the economic future of our region.
As the largest tourism organization in the Kansas City region, we support the airlines’ financing this more-than one billion dollar project that will positively impact our economy and our tourism future.
