Exercise is important to many attendees, however, busy schedules often reduce time and, sometimes, motivation for these same attendees to hit the fitness room. Exercise during events is important for keeping the blood flowing, which in turn boosts alertness. Providing early morning walking sessions to your conference schedule can help boost attendee attitude and concentration throughout the day.
1. A simple way to inspire attendees to get moving is to distribute walking/jogging maps starting and ending at their hotel venue. Provide a few options, longer and shorter paths, to give each attendee a route that fits their exercise level. Point out places of interest, such as coffee shops, shopping, and community art to spark interest.
