Family-Owned Lakhani Hospitality Celebrates 15 Years in Business with Multi-Million Dollar Renovation Unveiling and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Family-owned and operated Lakhani Hospitality celebrated their 15th Anniversary in the hospitality business and the completion of their comprehensive, $10 million renovation project at Holiday Inn & Suites Chicago North Shore with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 2. The founder of Lakhani Hospitality, Mansoorali Lakhani, is an emigrant from Pakistan and traveled from his impoverished village in the country to the United States in pursuit of the American Dream. In 2005, Lakhani formulated Lakhani Hospitality by purchasing the Holiday Inn & Suites Chicago North Shore. Following this, Lakhani began construction on the Skokie Banquet and Conference Center and then purchased Holiday Inn Chicago O’Hare and the Holiday Inn Oakbrook. Being the family oriented man that he is, Lakhani wanted to create a family business through Lakhani Hospitality and currently works alongside his wife, Shamim Lakhani, and daughter, Sheila Lakhani Gilani.
