On Friday, June 8, Chicago’s The Gwen, a Luxury Collection Hotel invites guests to Upstairs at The Gwen’s renovated rooftop terrace for its “Rosé Garden” cocktail soiree. From 5 – 9 p.m., guests will enjoy still and sparkling rosé, frosé, rosé sangria and rose-inspired dishes from Executive Chef Matt Jergens. The terrace will be decorated with a rose wall and verdant greenery – complementing the rooftop’s captivating city views. Singer and pianist Rebecca Brunner will provide entertainment throughout the evening.
The rose-inspired menu includes Lamb Loin with rose tahini, Buttermilk Fried Chicken with rose and pink peppercorn labneh and Burrata with rose vin cotto and puffed grains. In addition, guests will have access to a perfectly pink dessert bar complete with Raspberry Rose Macarons, Pistachio and Rose Water Pavlovas, and Rose Flavored Marshmallows. Additional sweet treats will be provided by Chicago-based popsicle maker Itsapop via Icicle Tricycle.
