Executive Chef David Magnasco is the owner of The Chef’s Table, an innovative culinary concept in the heart of Milwaukee’s Industrial Fifth Ward. The Chef’s Table is the region’s first fully private dining restaurant. This 10,000 sq.ft. renovated warehouse is elegant, housing a dining room, parlor, and open kitchen with charming and comfortable decor. According to Chef Magnasco, "The concept for The Chef's Table is in a constant state of evolution, because it's built around what the guests want. It's a private restaurant and an event space. But, at its heart, this is an extension of my home… I'm opening up my home to clients who'd like to take advantage of customized menus in a truly private space. It's special; you're not sharing the space or the chef with anyone else. And you can really do anything you want here.”
Chef Magnasco uses his twenty-seven years of experience to create lasting memories for his clients, "The Chef's Table is interactive. And it's very personal. In this technological age, people want information, and it’s rare to get it straight from a person these days. One of the things I love most about what we do is sitting down with the client and designing the menu with them. We look at what's seasonal, what's fresh, and we discuss concepts and ideas to really come up with a concept that matches what they love to eat and drink."
With seating for up to 60 guests or mingling room for 125 attendees to enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres, this venue is truly a one-of-a-kind dining experience. “For seated dinners, I introduce each course, describing the wine, where the food came from, and why I chose that pairing. During my cooking classes, you are asked to put on an apron and step into my kitchen. Instead of a demonstration, you are able to learn hands-on through prepping, cooking, and plating each course.”
Your next teambuilder could be in Chef Magnasco’s kitchen. Cooking classes have accommodations for 25. Attendees are received with a signature beverage and invited into the kitchen to learn fine dining tips, knife skills, and how to prepare a menu based on the theme of the night. Past themes have included “Steaks, Chops, and Sauces,” “Sushi-Making,” “Pasta 202,” and more. Once the meal is prepared, the professional staff take over to serve your attendees a seated dinner with wine pairing.
For larger events, The Chef’s Table caters with the same customized service.
