Serenity recently returned to Midwest Meetings and resumed her prior editorial position here following a two-year hiatus, during which she studied Business Communications/Marketing & Sales through the University of Phoenix and established herself as a mover-and-shaker within the media, marketing, and events fields.

Previously, she headed Midwest Meetings' editorial department from 2005-2009. She's back as of 2011 to focus on the news, content, and interests of meeting and event professionals throughout the Midwest region, gearing up to reach a wider Midwest Meetings audience through interactive online channels.

In her spare time, Serenity enjoys publishing fiction, volunteering for a local organization, and living life on life's terms.
