The Jefferson City Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) serves as the primary liaison between Missouri's capital city and the thousands of visitors who frequent our community each year. The Bureau officially announces the recent hire of Brittney Mormann, who will join the team as Communications Manager.
Brittney holds a Bachelor's of Science in Marketing from the University of Central Missouri and comes to the CVB with three years of experience in the tourism industry. Most recently, she worked for the Missouri Division of Tourism. There, she helped facilitate a grant program for destination marketing organizations throughout the state of Missouri. This background has helped Brittney make an easy transition into her new role with the CVB.
"The Convention & Visitors Bureau is excited for the opportunity to have Brittney join the JCCVB team," said Executive Director Diane Gillespie. "The skills and knowledge that Brittney has gained at the Missouri Division of Tourism will be of great value in the marketing of the City of Jefferson to our visitors."
Brittney is replacing Katherine Reed who, after more than three years at the CVB, has decided to stay at home with her two young sons. The Bureau is grateful for Katherine's dedication and service to the community and wishes her the best of luck in the future.
