SPIN: Senior Planner Industry Network Celebrates 10th Birthday

The beginning of this week, planners and suppliers from across the US gathered on the white sands of St. Pete's Beach, FL to celebrate the 10th Birthday of SPIN, Senior Planner Industry Network.

SPIN is the only network of senior-level meeting and event planners and industry suppliers. The fearless unicorn leader, Shawna Suckow, founded the organization which developed its core values as Connections, Authenticity, Expertise, Rejuvenation, Family, and FUN!

Each of the values was delivered with consistency throughout the event themed "In the Pursuit of Magic."

SPINCon is designed to help the entire individual succeed with content tracks dedicated to Brain, Body, Being, and Business. Tracey Smith, CMP, CMM, Executive Director of SPIN, spoke on how they curated content for this year's event in her article, Content Democracy. Breakout sessions incorporated everything from branding and sales to communication mindfulness and website design to standing out from a crowd, and did we mention the dance parties to start the day. The overall theme was FUN and it was clearly seen in every session.

Amidst the celebration, SPIN once again honored there '40 Over 40' which was created to recognize and honor planners who are industry role models, influencers, innovators, and pioneers.
