Awarded by the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM), the Minneapolis Convention Center (MCC), in Minnesota, and INTRUST Bank Arena, in Wichita, Kansas, were recently announced as a recipients of the 2018 Venue Excellence Award. Only five IAVM venues received this prestigious award which recognizes venues of any type that demonstrate excellence in the management and operation of public assembly venues. |
A diverse category with venues including convention centers, stadiums, arenas, race tracks, casinos, performing arts centers, and more. The MCC and INTRUST Bank Arena are considered to be one of the five best-managed venues within the IAVM membership. Venues were judged by a panel of IAVM members on Operational Excellence, Safety and Security, Service to the Community, and Team Building/Professional Development. Winners competed against venues from around the world. |
