As the 2017 Award recipient, Executive Chef Karol Osinski is recognized for his innovative American fusion, local and sustainable sourcing and incorporating classic European techniques into modern dishes. The Chef’s commitment to implementing long-term strategies to improve food quality and efficiency in Hyatt Regency Cincinnati’s culinary operations was also an award determining factor.
Chef Osinski brings eclectic experiences to Hyatt Regency Cincinnati’s unique culinary offerings that include wedding/event catering, an on-site bakery, the Market, and the popular farm-to-table restaurant, Red Roost Tavern.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from University of Cincinnati, Osinski earned a culinary degree from the Midwest Culinary Institute in Cincinnati. Leaving The Quarter Bistro in Mariemont, Ohio as Chef de Cuisine, Osinski joined Hyatt Regency Cincinnati as Sous Chef. Rising quickly to Executive Chef, Osinski has gathered a large culinary following in the Queen City.

Nourishing our diners with every morsel of beautifully cared-for food is our foundation,” exclaims Chef Osinski. “We focus on providing an approachable menu while using as much locally sourced and sustainable produce as possible. All items are made using advanced culinary techniques, adding an extra level of complexity, not often found in most hotel venues.”
