Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a nationally recognized hotel owner and management company, today announced that Andrea Foster, senior vice president of development, was recognized as one of the “30 Influential Women in Hospitality” by Hotel Management magazine.
Foster was recognized among 30 trailblazing women for her leadership, direction and dedication to the hospitality industry. A 20-year hospitality veteran, Foster is responsible for marketing Marcus Hotels & Resorts’ management capabilities and seeking potential acquisition, joint venture and third-party management opportunities for the company. Foster shares her passion for hospitality and success with many of her colleagues and is inspired to serve others – including mentoring other women in the industry.
“We are fortunate to have a woman of Andrea’s caliber on our development team. Her strong industry knowledge, leadership, mentorship and support of other women in our industry has proven to be invaluable for our team. We are inspired every day by Andrea’s drive and passion for success and this recognition is much deserved,” said Joseph Khairallah, president and chief operating officer of Marcus Hotels & Resorts.
