Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a nationally recognized hotel owner and management company, today announced that Andrea Foster, senior vice president of development, was recognized as one of the “30 Influential Women in Hospitality” by Hotel Management magazine. Foster was recognized among 30 trailblazing women for her leadership, direction and dedication to the hospitality industry. A 20-year hospitality veteran, Foster is responsible for marketing Marcus Hotels & Resorts’ management capabilities and seeking potential acquisition, joint venture and third-party management opportunities for the company. During her tenure, she has raised awareness of the Marcus Hotels & Resorts brand, which recently added two new properties to its portfolio: the Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District and Sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel in Chapel Hill, N.C.
