Spectra Venue Management is pleased to announce that Ric Booth, General Manager of the Duke Energy Convention Center, has been selected as a recipient of the Facilities and Destinations Magazine 2016 Elite Award.
The Facilities and Destinations Magazine Elite Award was created by the publication to recognize executives making a difference in the meetings and events industry. Booth is one of 12 executives nominated for the award voted on by Facilities and Destinations Magazine readers. Award recipients are chosen for their service as strong economic engines for their communities, their ability to maintain fruitful relationships with partners and a commitment to ensuring their staff excels in customer service.
Says Shura Garnett, Division Senior Vice President, “Ric Booth’s strong leadership continues to make him an asset for Spectra Venue Management and the Duke Energy Convention Center. We are proud to see him recognized a third year for an award that he genuinely deserves.”
Booth is also involved in the community, serving on the Board of Trustees of Artworks Cincinnati.
“At Spectra we pride ourselves on providing superior service that amplifies client and customer experience when they visit the DECC,” said Booth. “I continue to share this award with my team at the center and our partners that continue to help make our facility a great destination to host meetings and events.”
