Missy Schrupp, CMP, has been with International Dairy Queen, Inc. (IDQ) for 36 years. Since 1994 she has been in the meeting department, planning and executing meetings of all sizes. For the past few years, she has also taken over the role of managing the travel department and is now Director of Meetings, Events and Travel for IDQ. In her role, she handles their largest meetings, one of which is the DQ Expo with 2,000+ attendees, oversees national accounts and negotiates various contracts relative to meetings and corporate travel. Schrupp also oversees the travel agencies of record for the US, Canada and International in addition to many other responsibilities. When she’s not at work or traveling for her job, she spends all her time with her greatest joy - her family, that now includes two grandsons, ages 4 and 2. Missy shared with us a view into the sometimes-crazy life she loves.
