The Kane County Republican Party will host a special viewing event for the presidential debates between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton on Monday, September 26, 2016 at the historic Arcada Theatre, 105 E Main St, St Charles, IL. This free event will be shown on the Arcada’s 40 foot screen on the theatre’s iconic main stage. Refreshments will be available during the event. This is the first debate between the two presidential candidates and it will be moderated by NBC Nightly News Anchor, Lester Holt (formerly of Chicago’s WBBM News) on the campus of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Doors open at the Arcada Theatre at 6pm with the official start of the debate taking place from 8pm – 9:30pm Central Time, according to 2016 Election Central. |
