Ginger McCoy of Precision Meetings & Events enjoys a virtual trip to Cincinnati while visiting the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Springtime Expo in Washington D.C. on April 28. The Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) debuted its new virtual reality experiences for meeting planners at the Expo. The CVB plans to use new virtual reality technology and headsets as a sales tactic, providing immersive Cincinnati experiences to meeting planners and visitors. The virtual reality experiences, produced by Cincinnati-based Lightborne Communications, feature 360 degree videos of uniquely-Cincinnati attractions and venues, including a Cincinnati Reds baseball game at Great American Ball Park, the lobby and cafe at downtown Cincinnati's Contemporary Arts Center, the Grand Ballroom of the Duke Energy Convention Center and more. |
