Welcome to the inaugural year of the Eau Claire World Film Festival, proudly becoming a part of the vibrant and nationally renowned arts scene centered here in the Chippewa Valley of Western Wisconsin. We are excited to bring a permanent, major, international film festival to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. A vast array of jury-selected, high-quality narrative and documentary films will transport you through Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Latin America, Australia, Russia, and back home again - and your votes will enable us to crown winners. The beautiful & historic Micon Downtown theater will be our primary venue, with additional events planned for the Oxbow Hotel, The Lismore Hotel, Caffe Tempo, and University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. |
Additionally, on Sunday, October 1, we have scheduled a special screening of Cheeseheads - the Documentary. Join director John Mitchell - question and answer apres - and his comedy that celebrates all-things-Wisconsin for our festival finale at 2pm.
Apres parties are scheduled for each evening of the festival, at locations such as The Lismore Hotel.
We’re offering special inaugural year pricing of only $32 for a VIP All Festival Pass. (Tickets to individual screenings also available.)
