LINDSBORG, KANSAS - 04/15/2016 - Welcome in springtime with all your groovy friends as we celebrate Lindsborg in Bloom, April 30 starting at 10:00 a.m. Our city has a whole day of lively music, appreciating art and rollicking good times just for you! Throw it back to peace, love and happiness by breaking out your tie-dye and bell bottoms. Main Street comes alive with color and sounds of the 60's. Lindsborg in Bloom is fast becoming a favorite Lindsborg tradition so come play and celebrate with us! |
Take time to stroll down the street to The Raymer Society Consignment Art Auction at 1:30 p.m. in the Trinity United Methodist Church, 224 S. Main Street. Consigned to the auction are beautiful works by Lester Raymer, Birger Sandzén, the Prairie Print Makers and many other regional artists. You may see the art at the Red Barn Studio through Friday, April 29. Hours are Tuesday-Friday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday -Sunday 1:00-5:00 p.m.
The art will also be available for preview at the Methodist church from 12:00 p.m. until the auction begins at 1:30 p.m. For bidding options and other information visit www.lesterraymer.org . The Red Barn Studio is located at 212 S. Main St.
Then stay for the inaugural concert in the Landmark Music Series at the Old Mill Museum, 121 Mill St. at 4:30 p.m. The concert will have two separate performers, Dru Davis (high-energy pop, with a hint of funk and blues.) and Nikki Moddelmog (singer/songwriter/indie), featuring Susan Mayo on cello. Finish your day listening to the peaceful sound of handbells with a concert in Presser Hall, 335 E. Swensson at 7:30 p.m. on Bethany College campus.
