By Aarik Woods Quad Cities tourism promoters say the Illinois stop gap budget opened the door for them to work on their plans for the year. A spokesperson from the Quad Cities Convention and Visitors bureau says the budget makes it possible for the area to compete with other states as a tourism destination.
