Amway Grand Plaza’s restaurants and bars are beginning to reopen, including:
§ Starbucks: Beginning on Monday, June 15th, the onsite coffeeshop will be open seven days per week with expanded patio seating and the newly added Nitro Brew on Tap.
- IDC: The speakeasy-style balcony lounge will reopen on Thursday, June 18. New hours of operation are Wednesday-Saturday from 4 pm to 12 am and Sunday from 3 pm to 9 pm.
- Ruth’s Chris Steak House: The elegant steak house will reopen on Thursday, June 18. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 4:30 pm to 9 pm. Now offering expanded patio seating and curbside takeout. Reservations required.
- Wolfgang Puck Kitchen Counter: Open seven days per week, offering quick-grab lunch and dinner options.
AHC Hospitality has just completed a thoughtful renovation of Amway Grand Plaza’s historic Pantlind side.
- The sleek yet comfortable guestrooms, including the spacious new room type Superior Two Queens, have been refreshed in shades of jewel tones, including sapphire, emerald and garnet.
- New windows were installed to allow for more natural light.
- Keeping the history of the Pantlind front and center, the original trim work, handles and number plates on guestroom doors, and guestroom crisscross ceiling bulkheads have all been kept intact.

- As a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel, Amway Grand Plaza is taking part in Hilton CleanStay with Lysol Protection, a global program that is introducing a new standard of hotel cleanliness and disinfection to ensure Hilton guests enjoy an even cleaner and safer stay.
- Face coverings will be recommended at all bars and restaurants within Amway Grand Plaza.

JW Marriott Grand Rapids
The upscale JW Marriott Grand Rapids will reopen to guests on July 1st, providing modern and sophisticated accommodations for discerning business and leisure travelers.
Food & Beverage
- The lively jdek patio, which offers breathtaking views that overlook the Grand River, will reopen on June 18th. Hours are Thursday through Saturday 12:00 – 8:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Renovations
The JW Marriott Grand Rapids’ International Ballroom, eight meeting rooms and pre-function space have been updated with modern sophistication and warm, richly-furnished designs.
- The spaces now feature dark, muted tones and metallic accents with carefully curated furniture that combines simple lines with rich wood grain and soft, sumptuous fabrics.
