30 pre-teen and teenage pageant contestants hit the Greater St. Charles, Illinois service area for a day of education, exploration, and fun before they engage in the serious work of preparing to compete in the Miss Dunamis Teen and Miss Dunamis Woman Scholarship Pageant, held by the Dunamis Community Advocate Services. The pageant will take place on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 5PM to 7PM at Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 East Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois. |
“I want to be able to give my future children an inheritance as well as offer jobs to the youth that I mentor through Dunamis Community Advocate Services. I want them to say, ‘I am interested in this calling’ and I can provide a pathway for them,” said Ariel Fuller about the youth women she mentors in this special program. Fuller is the Chief Operating Officer of Dunamis Women Enterprise and pageant coordinator.
“The Miss Dunamis Teen and Miss Dunamis Woman Scholarship Pageant is the official scholarship pageant of Dunamis Community Advocate Services (DCAS). ‘Dunamis’ literally means Power! This system exists to provide scholarship opportunities to young women in [a] mentoring program.”
Areas of competition include grade point average, preliminary interviews, introduction, fitness, talent, evening gown & final question.
“Each contestant will embark upon the "I Am A Dunamis Teen & Woman" journey to expose the their innate power while making a purposeful impact within their school & community as an advocate of change.”
