

Potawatomi Bingo Casino changed the name and logo of its Menomonee Valley entertainment complex to Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. The change took place the summer of 2014 and recognizes the addition of lodging into its array of entertainment and hospitality offerings.
Total meeting space: More than 60,000 sq. ft.

An event center ballroom with up to 11,234 sq. ft. of function space is anticipated to be complete in late 2014/early 2015 at the Kansas Star Casino. The ballroom will be able to be divided into six distinct rooms and there will be three independent executive boardrooms as well. Pre-function space will be available for receptions and breaks. Additionally, the Hampton Inn & Suites next to the casino recently completed construction that doubled their room inventory, with 300 rooms now available.

The Lodge at Deadwood received the award for “Best Casino,” “Best Hotel,” and “Best Overall Restaurant” in the 2014 “Best of the Black Hills” contest organized by the Rapid City Journal. The Lodge was also named “Best Sports Bar” and “Loosest Slots.” There were nearly 100 categories in the contest from retailers and restaurants to professional services. The winners were determined by more than 15,000 votes over a two week period.

Prairie Band Casino & Resort’s award-winning golf course, Firekeeper Golf Course, now features the Prairie Meadows Lodge. A brand new, deluxe retreat with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, an efficiency kitchen, big-screen TV, fireplace and screened-in porch - all located right across the street from the casino.
