The Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomes the AC Hotel Cincinnati at the Banks to the Cincinnati region.
The brand new hotel, located in The Banks riverfront development, features 171 rooms and suites, many with balconies overlooking the Ohio River and Smale Riverfront Park. The AC Hotel also offers three distinct meeting spaces, including two audiovisual-equipped media salons and an 888-square-foot meeting room.
Situated across from Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds, the new property is the latest addition to The Banks, a recently-developed neighborhood in downtown Cincinnati.
"We are excited to bring this dynamic hotel to downtown Cincinnati," said Tom Stapleton, senior vice president of Eagle Realty Group, the hotel’s developer. "The European inspiration of the design and the beverage and food is unlike any other hotel in the downtown market and has already been well received."
Highlights of the European-inspired designed hotel include the Upper Deck rooftop bar and event space with views of Downtown Cincinnati, The Banks, the Ohio River and Northern Kentucky; the AC Kitchen; a state-of-the-art fitness center and an outdoor courtyard.
“This is an exceptional hotel that gives visitors to the Cincinnati region another fantastic option,” said Dan Lincoln, president and CEO of the Cincinnati USA CVB. “Along with unparalleled access to The Banks, the AC Hotel is only a block away from the Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar for quick access to the other exciting downtown neighborhoods.”
In the past five years, downtown Cincinnati has added more than 1,000 new hotel rooms. The AC Hotel is the sixth new hotel to have opened downtown in that time. Three additional new downtown hotels have either begun development, or have been announced.
“The addition of the AC Hotel Cincinnati at the Banks is continued proof that our destination is more popular than ever,” Lincoln said. “New hotel development has helped lead a resurgence of travel and tourism for the Cincinnati region.”
The AC Hotel Cincinnati at the Banks opened in mid-October.
