by Nancy Trejos Travelers heading to Detroit can now reserve rooms for luxury watchmaker Shinola’s new hotel. Shinola partnered with real estate firm Bedrock to develop the 129-guestroom hotel. The property joins two restored historic buildings-- the former T.B. Rayl Co. department store and the former home to the Singer Sewing Machine company—with three new buildings. It is located in the city’s historic Woodward Avenue shopping district, within walking distance of Ford Field, Comerica Park and Little Caesars Arena. Read more at USA Today. |
