Those looking for tips and motivation for healthy living will find inspiration and guidance this fall during the Oct. 7-8 Wellness Weekend to be held at Spa Shiki at The Lodge of Four Seasons, one of the Midwest’s top resort spas. The two-day event at the Lake of the Ozarks will feature a guest health and wellness speaker, healthy cooking demonstration and group fitness activities. The weekend kicks off with an organic wine reception on Friday night from 7:00-7:45p.m. at Spa Shiki. Saturday morning will begin with a sunrise walk, followed by yoga at 9 a.m. At noon, guests will enjoy a cooking demonstration and healthy lunch, followed by a seminar featuring health and wellness speaker Dr. Wendy Cobler at 2 p.m. |
The activities wrap up on Sunday morning with a discussion on the benefits of juicing (guests will enjoy celery juice with ginger, lime and apple or pear and carrot juice with lime, apple or pear) in the Spa Shiki café, a hike around the resort and yoga.
The Lodge of Four Season’s October Wellness Weekend package includes a two-night stay at the resort, which recently completed a $15 million renovation, as well as a $50 Spa Shiki credit per person per day (must be used each day, Saturday and Sunday, not accruable).
Rates for the two-night package are $234 per night, based upon double occupancy (taxes and resort fee not included). Additional guests may be added to the room package for $62.50 each (taxes and resort fee not included).
