Butler students developed a meeting planner survey, with the goal of booking more group business and discovering any possible insufficiencies within the Ironworks meeting experience. The students involved in this project will gain experience in the ever-changing world of hospitality marketing, developing a deeper understanding as to how a boutique business can carve a unique marketing niche.
The students’ key findings have led to two recommendations that they believe Ironworks should
Implement: developing market executive-level retreats and creating a meeting planner survey to get customer feedback.
“The students have been making exciting progress on the project. From conducting interviews to compiling in-depth reports and preparing for the final presentation, they’re gaining unparalleled experience,” said Daniel McQuiston, an associate marketing professor at Butler University. “We’re very grateful to Ironworks Hotel for allowing us to partner and provide firsthand experience for emerging professionals.”
