A meetings-focused country inn tucked in Ohio’s gorgeous Hocking Hills region, the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Innkeeper Ellen Grinsfelder is marking the occasion with a year-long celebration of special offerings for meeting planners to mark the Inn’s 30 years in business. Planners booking a meeting at the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls this year will enjoy 30 percent off of their space rental fee for events booked any time in 2017. The Inn’s Gathering Place is a one-of-a-kind, 5,000-square-foot, fully handicapped accessible meeting space. It features an open layout and space for meetings and social events of up to 50 people. Located in an 1840s-log cabin, The Gathering Place boasts gorgeous views of the Hocking Hills and plenty of warm, natural light filtering into a large meeting room. A more intimate 450-square-foot windowed breakout space features antiques and the work of local artists from southeast Ohio. |
Executive Chef Anthony Schulz prepares wonderful meals and breaks using produce from local growers whenever possible. Schulz works closely with meeting planners to create menus that are ideal for their group’s needs, schedule and budget. Many of the herbs and flowers that decorate the Inn and flavor Chef Schulz’s dishes are rooted just outside the kitchen door.
With beautifully appointed Inn rooms, cottages and cabins, the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls’ lodging choices are just as special as its meeting space. Meeting attendees will feel refreshed and energized after enjoying the best rest of their lives, thanks to ultra-comfortable furnishings and relaxing surroundings. In fact, the Inn’s bedding is so luxe that guests often buy its sheet sets in the gift shop to take home. A full-service spa offers a host of therapeutic treatments for a relaxing break or team incentive.
Perched on the edge of a craggy gorge in southeast Ohio's spectacular Hocking Hills, The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls offers corporate and other groups an unprecedented opportunity to turn off their cell phones and reboot. Crafted from several log cabins that date back to the 1800s, the Inn and the Spa is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, rushing waterfalls, mammoth rock formations and miles and miles of trails for bird watching, hiking, horseback riding and more.
Build Your Team
Teambuilding opportunities abound and the Inn’s meeting planner staff works closely with groups to design a custom experience. Group cooking classes, kayaking, hikes, eco tours, a zipline canopy tour and other experiences offer unmatched and unforgettable opportunities for organizations to work together for a common goal.
“We work closely with associations, board retreats and other groups to custom-design meetings to help them really achieve their goals,” said Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls Innkeeper Ellen Grinsfelder. “Our unique offerings and environment, and our skilled staff, offer the perfect setting that’s conducive to effective brainstorming, strategic planning and motivation.” Grinsfelder added that the Inn frequently hosts board and executive retreats for those purposes.
There is Free Lunch
Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch? Meeting planners who book in May or June will receive a complimentary lunch and FAM tour of the stunning grounds of the property.
Meeting attendees often plan to extend their stay for leisure, inviting spouses to join after work functions are completed. Thus, the Inn offers special discounts each month on lodging. For example, guests who stay three nights during the month of March will receive 30% off. Visitors staying any Wednesday in June will enjoy $30 off of their lodging. Travelers staying on any date during the month of July with the number “3” in it receive 30% off their lodging.
Meeting planners are encouraged to call the Inn to take advantage of its special anniversary offerings. Complete information on the Gathering Place and the Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls is available at InnatCedarFalls.com or (800) 653-2557.
