A new 88-seat gastro pub called Tin Cup located at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center has officially opened its doors. Formerly The Grille, the completely re-concepted restaurant now boasts a whole new look and menu design. Featuring an expansive patio overlooking the pristine Championship Willow Crest Golf Club, Tin Cup brings the neighborhood an entertaining kitchen-with-a-view option for lunch, dinner, drinks, or private parties. |
The Food, Drink & Specials:
Tin Cup presents affordable scratch-made, American pub style fare utilizing locally-sourced products. The menu is divided into four sections: "Snacks & Starters," "Entrée Salads," "Hand Helds," and "Sides." Highlights from each category include: 19th Hole Angus Beef Sliders, Sweet Potato Fries, Fried Cod Fritters & Chips, Cobb Salad, 9-Iron Steak Salad, Pastrami Sandwich, Popcorn Shrimp Wrap, and the Tin Cup Burger topped with thick-cut bacon. In addition to the standard menu that ranges in price between $4 and $15, a rotating chef's special will also be featured weekly.
For drinks, a wide selection of worldly wines by the glass and domestic/regional/imported beers are offered, with taps featuring locally-based micro brews including Downers Grove-based Alter Brewing, as well as an exclusive partnership with Tin Cup branded whiskey. Happy Hour, which is Monday through Thursday from 3 pm to 6 pm, gives way to $3 draft beer, $7 well drinks, $8 loaded nachos, $7 Bogey Wings, and $5 chips and salsa. Starting this summer, patrons can also expect a featured fish fry every Friday to cap off the special offerings.
