The AAA Mobil Five Diamond Waldorf Astoria Chicago is excited to announce the addition of its signature Parisian-style courtyard to its coveted collection of existing third and fifth floor meeting and event spaces just in time for summer. Starting July 1, 2017, event planners and consumers alike can elevate their events from the ground up by reserving the 6,000 square feet cobblestone courtyard for special events such as cocktail receptions, wedding ceremonies and dinners, corporate events, fashionable runway shows or evening soirees. |
Designed by renowned French architect Lucien Lagrange, the Waldorf Astoria Chicago courtyard is richly appointed to emulate the era of timeless glamour reminiscent of the grand hotels in Paris in the 1920’s. The courtyard is an extraordinary place with a singular experience nestled in the heart of the Gold Coast neighborhood. The chateau-like exterior is a graceful 60-story tower embraced with highly textured and composed elevations, colonnades and spires drawing from classical design. The courtyard offers a secluded space for arrival as well as a welcome degree of separation from the bustling streets with understated privacy gates. Within the comforts of the courtyard lies the patio of Petit Margeaux, a classic French patisserie from James Beard award-winning Chef Michael Mina, which can accommodate more intimate events.
No matter the special occasion, the hotel’s stellar catering and events team led by Stevens, will be executed with the circle of excellence for which they are recognized for to meet and exceed the guests’ expectations. Guests will have the option to book a full buy-out or a portion of the space depending on the size of the celebration. The courtyard will accommodate up to 250 guests for receptions and dinners.
