Downing Displays, a full-service exhibit designer and producer based in suburban Cincinnati, Ohio, has announced its acquisition of Positive Productions, Inc. Based in Batavia, Ohio, Positive Productions is a boutique exhibit design and build firm providing custom and rental trade show exhibits, point-of-purchase displays, and environmental graphics to clients in the machine tool, food and beverage, and manufacturing industries. The acquisition supports Downing Displays’ goal to continue to grow its presence in the trade show exhibit design and fabrication industry. “Both Downing Displays and Positive Productions share a commitment to our clients’ exhibiting success and superior customer service, so the acquisition was a great fit,” said Mike Scherer, President of Downing Displays. “In addition to our in-house design, fabrication, and production, through the acquisition Positive Productions is able to offer their customers a broader set of engagement marketing capabilities—including professional staff, speed briefings, theater presentations, and interactive media.” As part of the acquisition, Positive Productions will become part of the Downing Displays brand and has moved offices to Downing Displays’ Milford, Ohio headquarters facility. Several Positive Productions employees have also joined Downing Displays. Tim Kemplin, President of the company, joins Downing Displays, where he will continue in his role of managing and growing client accounts. “Combining our two talented teams allows us to take our customer service to the next level,” said Kemplin. “We’re thrilled to share our over 25 years of experience and join a company who shares our commitment to the highest quality work.” |
