This Kansas town claims to be the most haunted town in the state. A pioneer launching point for westward migration, this town began as a transportation hub in the 1800s. Today, the brave, guests can enjoy tours, programs, and events based around the paranormal activity of the town, including its most famous haunted home, the Sallie House.
Buxton Inn, Granville, OH
Built in 1812 by Orrin Granger, the Buxton Inn, originally known as “The Tavern,” is the oldest continuously running inn in the town. The first report of a ghost was in the 1920’s when a man who resembled Mr. Granger was seen around the property. It is also said that a former innkeeper died in room number nine and guests have reported seeing her in a blue dress.
