Whether they know it or not, Moms are essentially event planners. It most likely begins before their children are even born. Many moms-to-be put together birth plans and other detailed lists of things they need to purchase, decorate, arrange, etc., before their “main event” arrives.

Moms spend a lot of time working with outside vendors as well. There’s finding their baby’s doctor for the aforementioned check-ups, searching for qualified daycare providers, photographers to capture all of baby’s milestones, and also researching with qualified colleagues to determine the best “F&B” options for baby.

As their baby grows, the event planning responsibilities increase. Moms must arrange playdates and juggle school and activity schedules (in addition to her work schedule). Mom was also your first example of the difficulties of handling F&B issues. From allergies (of both her kids and her kids’ friends) to picky eaters, she has to ensure that everyone is healthy and satisfied.
